How we work
How we mobilise resources
- It is our deep seated belief that people are inherently good and they are willing to play their part in alleviating the suffering of others. The challenge for most people to identify a reliable channel through which to make a difference. We believe that the Elimites Brotherhood Club provides that trustworthy channel for those who seek to improve the lives of the neediest people in our community.
- We understand that most people and institutions desire to have the assurance that they are working with a credible organisation that has a proven track record and clear programmes that are aimed at improving the plight of the needy within in our community.
- The first port of call for us is always to get members of the Elimites Brotherhood Club to make contributions from their own pockets towards any project. We pool resources to implement the smaller projects on our own.
- Some projects are conceptualised and executed at a larger scale for maximum impact. We accordingly reach out to corporates, individuals and Elim community members directly to request funding for specific well-defined programmes with clearly defined budgets. We also make use various social media campaigns to appeal for donations of school shoes, targeting individual members of the public and corporates. We have been encouraged by the response so far in the previous programmes that we have implemented.
