Since its inception, our organisation has intervened on a few cases to help the community.<\/p>\n

Covid-19 Masks<\/h4>\n

When the Covid-19 epidemic reached South Africa in 2020, the Elimites Brotherhood Club raised funds to buy over 1000 reusable masks that were donated to learners at Lemana High School, HS Phillips High School, Waterval High School, Ozias Davhana High School as well as Elim High School.<\/p>\n

Elim High School Billboard<\/h4>\n

In 2020, Elim High School requested the Elimites Brotherhood Club to help them with the school billboard that was old and faded.\u00a0 The Elimites Brotherhood Club responded by designing, producing and installing a brand new billboard for the school.<\/p>\n

Mashimbyi Family Fire Disaster<\/h4>\n

In January 2022, the Mashimbyi family home in the Mahonisi section of Elim was burnt to the ground. All the home contents, including school books, groceries and clothes were destroyed in the fire. The Elim Brotherhood Club raised R10,000 out of their own pockets that was used buy school books, uniforms, food and other essentials for the family to restart their lives.<\/p>\n

Masungulo School Shoes Project<\/h4>\n

In November 2022, the Masungulo Primary School sent a letter to the Elimites Brotherhood Club requesting assistance with school shoes for 30 of their most needy learners. The Elimites Brotherhood Club members raised money amongst themselves to buy and deliver 30 brand new quality school shoes for the needy learners.<\/p>\n

Elim Community Awards<\/h4>\n

The Elimites Brotherhood Club was nominated in the Most Supportive Community Organisation category for the inaugural Elim Community Awards. The Elimites Brotherhood Club won the award, through majority votes from community members.\u00a0 For us, this award is most valuable because it bares testament to the reality that our brothers, sisters and parents in the community recognise the good work that we are doing in within our community.<\/p>\n
